每一尊佛及其名號，都象徵我們凡夫最完美的那一面；當我們向佛陀虔誠禮拜時，就是代表我們降伏自己的傲慢、慾望與無明，透過禮拜來降伏我們的煩惱心，進而使我們的佛性顯現。
成佛的目的，就是為了利益眾生。

In Buddhism, there is significant connotation to the unique name and imagery associated with each Buddha. Each projects a particular aspect of perfection aspired by man.
In bowing down to the Buddha, one enters into a state of mindfulness away from untamed ego, endless desires and blind ignorance. This tribute to the Buddha, when exercised, is to address our afflictions so as to return us to the true state of bodhisattva.
As a buddhist, one shall aim to promote the well-being of all others whilst in pursuit of attaining buddhahood.
